Vegan Video of The Week:
Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler
Watch as the legendary Black Sabbath and Heaven & Hell bassist explains why he stopped eating meat as a child, and what else he is doing to help animals.
In addition to being a strict vegan, Geezer Butler and his wife are also strongly against puppy mills, and they have protested outside local pet stores in their area. According to him, “There is no reason to go out and buy animals from a pet shop - you can just get them from your local shelter. Hopefully, one day we will see the end of puppy mills.”
Dude, Geezer is the man. In middle school, I had a poster of Black Sabbath and he was front and center.

This is what today looked like
The Abajos in the Manti-La Sal district (aka where I roam)
I went up Robertson’s Pasture, down Spring Creek, and then had to walk 3.5 miles up and down the forest service road to get back to my car. I took SO many pictures of flowers.
7 miles round trip.
Gahhhh ever fantasize about how you want to dye your hair and then suddenly find someone with it?!
So, so cool. Like a fox.
I just bought Pho, spring rolls, and bagels from Moe’s Bagels on Denver. Pig status. I am stocking up for when there’s only Mexican American food.
